Hoe de passie van Michael Anastassiades voor ontwerpen begon
Michael is opgegroeid in Cyprus waar hij als kind al hield van tekenen. Hij had altijd een potlood en papiertje bij de hand en ging daarmee de kinderen in de buurt langs om te vragen of ze iets voor hem wilde tekenen. Hij probeerde het na te tekenen, maar ontdekte dat het veel leuker was om zelf iets te tekenen en kon hierin zijn creativiteit goed kwijt. Had hij er nooit aan gedacht om iets met zijn creativiteit te gaan doen, laat staan een designer te worden. Hij is daarom in eerste instantie gaan studeren aan de Imperial College of Sience Technology and Medicine in Londen, maar behaalde later zijn master degree in Industrial Design aan de Royal College of Art.
